Your account is deactivated before being deleted. After 30 days of remaining deactivated it will then be deleted. Logging into your account within the 30-day deactivation window restores your account. If you want to download your X data, you’ll need to request it before you deactivate your account. Deactivating your account does not remove data from X systems. To deactivate: 1) Follow the link or 'More' -> 'Settings and privacy' -> 'Your account' -> 'Deactivate your account.' 2) Read the account deactivation information, then click Deactivate. 3) Enter your password and 'Deactivate account'.
